Cancer on the Increase

by Joan » Thu Oct 29, 2015 7:54 pm

The Lancet, the most prestigious medical journal in the UK, published a report in 2010
which states that UK cancer survival rates were lower than in many other countries.

It went on to state that the survival rates for a number of cancers
had barely improved between 1995 and 2007

It gets worse

Government statistics have revealed that between 197 and 2008
the incidence of cancer in men had increased by 24%
and in women by 49%

In February 2011 the Office for National Statistics revealed
an increase of 25% in breast cancer rates in the last 10 years.

This is simply staggering.

During the last 10 years the chance of developing breast cancer
has gone UP from 1 in 9 to 1 in 8
and that's despite all the breast screening.

Even though survival rates for some cancers are slowly improving,
by 2030, cancer is set to kill more than 13.2 million per year worldwide.
That’s almost double the 7.6 million people who died of cancer in 2008.

To find out why aren't we making any real progress
you just need to 'follow the money'.

Worldwide $200 billion is spent per year

In the UK alone, we spent £6.3 billion in 2010

This is all taxpayers money

Where is it going?

You've guessed - the Pharmaceutical companies.

Yet, the Cancer Industry hasn’t come up with a single, meaningful breakthrough - let alone CURE - in the last 100 years.

I find this sickening, what about you?
